Mary Margaret Dow, age 81, of Corryton, Tennessee, our angel here on Earth, went to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 9, 2024. She was of the Baptist Faith and lover of all animals. Mary earned her Associates Degree in Business from Knoxville Business College. In 2007, she retired from US Bankruptcy Court after 15 years of dedicated service.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Milford "Bob" Dow; sisters, Lucy Carden and Rosie Asbury; brothers, James Asbury and Joe Carden; niece, Wendy Carden. She is survived by daughters, Tammy (Kevin) Esser, Teresa (Landon) Backus, Tina Crebs; grandchildren, Jennifer O'Neal, Jessica (Nathan) Backus, Mary-Jo (Tyler) Buckner, Keefe (Kim) Esser; great grandchildren, Alex, Natalie and Ethan; brother, Arthur "Junebug" Carden; all her fur babies.
Family will receive friends Saturday, January 13th from 10am-12pm with funeral service at 12pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Graveside service will immediately follow funeral service at Lynnhurst Cemetery.
