Hello, Collins Family,
I'm so sorry about the loss of your sweet mom, Mary. I loved her and had visited her and Herman a few times at the house in Knoxville. I just heard about her passing a few weeks ago and wanted to let you know that she truly was a SPECIAL and good woman. Know that she made her mark on me by her kindness, hospitality and her sweet smile. Sending you all hugs from Georgia. I've attached a picture of your dad and my dad in 2008 at my Aunt Carroll's house.

I met Mary when I was nine years old, Edna an I were childhood friends. Herman and Mary always made me feel loved and welcomed in their home. She was always so special to me. My love goes out to Edna, Ron and the rest of the family.

I met Mary about the same time that I met Edna. That started a friendship that has last nearly  50 years. Mary always treated me just like I was her daughter. I have so many memories of her and Herman that I hold dear to my heart. She will be missed but earth’s loss is heavens gain and I will see her again. Sending up prayers for the family that God will give you peace.

Mary was at the same nursing home with my dad Turner Lee Collins Jr who passed away 12-27-20. Herman was my grandfathers brother.
