Mabel is preceded in death by her husband, George M. Armstrong; parents, William and Kate Fletcher; sisters, Virginia Presley, Lucille Wall, Irene Reeder and Linda Ray.
She is survived by her son, Rex Armstrong; sisters, Nadine Carne, Louise Bromley and Thelma Simmons; several nieces and nephews.
There will be a gathering of friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919. There will be a Graveside Service at 11:00 am on Monday, August 6, 2018 in the Veteran Garden at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
