Lorine Sue Lane

Lorine (Painter) Lane, caring mother and doting grandmother, passed away on February 27, 2023 at the age of 73. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan, amazing cook, and known as Nannaw to all who loved her.

Lorine is survived and deeply missed by her children, daughter Lorie (Joe) Covington, daughter Diane (Frank) Parker, son Dewayne (Debbie) Lane, and son Jeff Lane. Forever cherished and remembered by her two granddaughters, Bobbi Jo (Caleb) Young and Leeanna (Alexander) Price. Her memory lives on with her great grand babies Ella, Sawyer, Rylan and A.J. She is remembered fondly by her surviving siblings, Kenneth (Christine) Waggoner, and Joann Huskey, her family by affection, Bruno (Maria) Albarran as well as family friends, Denise and Roy Stalliongs. Lorine was preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Lane, parents John and Thelma Painter, and son, Lee Lane. Family will receive friends 5:00- 7:00 pm Wednesday at Weaver’s Chapel with service to follow at 7:00 pm. Family and friends will meet Thursday at 10:45 am at Asbury Cemetery, 5100 Asbury Cemetery Rd. Knoxville, TN 37915 for an 11:00 am interment.
