Linda Gail Cosey

Linda Gail Cosey, born on February 27, 1954, passed away peacefully at home on March 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was a vibrant soul, filled with love for the Lord, her family, and her pets. Linda enjoyed walking her pets and always made sure that those around her knew how much she loved them.

Linda was born to the late Blanche Virginia (Carter) Smith and Carl Houston Smith. She was preceded in death by her siblings Peggy Stinnett, Carl Eugene, and James Houston Smith, as well as her special niece Karmen Stinnett and great-nephew James Eric Beasley. She is also reunited in heaven with her late husbands, Jan Seamons and William Cosey.

Linda leaves behind her nephew, Ray Stinnett, Jr., great-niece, Summer Dishner; great-nephews, Travis Dishner (Shanna), and her great-great-grand nieces and nephews: Justice Shelley, Willow Petroff, Mason Dunaway, Jordyn and Samuel Dishner. Additionally, she had several close friends who will deeply miss her, including Wade, Tommy, and David Covington.

The family wishes to express their gratitude to Amedysis Hospice for their exceptional care and compassion during this time.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, with a funeral service at 7:00 PM at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home.
