Lily Isabelle Loach Milnes, 85 years-old, peacefully passed away with family surrounding her on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her son’s home in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Lily was born April 23, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario Canada, the daughter of Sarah Evans Loach and Francis Harry Loach. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Lily most recently lived in Seymour, Tennessee for over thirty years and was a member of Lake Forest Presbyterian church where she served as a Deacon. She is a former employee of TVA, Hilliard Lyons, and Montgomery Insurance Company. She was a lifelong member of the YWCA giving many years of volunteer service in Pennsylvania and Knoxville. She sang in the church choir and for the Knoxville Choral Society. Lily had a great sense of humor and brightened the lives of everyone around her. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Anthony “Tony” Milnes, her father Harry Loach, her mother Sarah Loach, and her brother Maurice Loach Lily is survived by three children; James (Nancy) Milnes of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Marilyn (Michael) Steinle of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Dana (Cheryl) Milnes of Brookfield, Wisconsin; eleven grandchildren; Paul (Brittany) Milnes, Matthew Milnes, Brad Milnes, Kathryn Milnes, Megan (Matthew) Daniels, Mark (Jenny) Steinle, Marshall Steinle, Rebeka (Paul) Sinclair, Robert Milnes, Jason Milnes, and Bethany Milnes; and her sister Frances Aspinall of Peterborough, Ontario Canada. She also has five great grandchildren; Avery and Gracen Daniels, Luke, Mary Kate and David Steinle; and loving nieces and nephews. . A special thanks to the Vitas Hospice care team that provided so much comfort and care. Visitation will be held at Lake Forest Presbyterian Church (714 Lake Forest Drive, Knoxville, Tennessee 37920), between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM on Saturday, June 15, 2013 with a funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM, Rev. Marshall Steinle officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association; P.O.
