Lillian Evelyn Stanford White

White, Lillian Evelyn, age 84, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2012. Family and friends mourn the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend. Known for her tireless devotion to her family and her selfless generosity, Evelyn will be missed by all. The family’s peace resides in knowing that she now rests in the embrace of the two loves of her life,…her husband, Ed and her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Powell. Preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Ed White; parents, Howard and Emma Stanford; brother, Gene Stanford.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Vicky and Tony Wilson; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Sally White; son, Mike White and Mary Davis; grandchildren, Christine Myers, Michael White, James White, Caressa Dixon, Cori Wilson, Lindsay Banda; great grandchildren, Ashley White, Meagan and Hite Myers, Aaron and Amanda White, Blake and Natalie Dixon, Melissa Johnson, Emma, Belle, Tim and Hannah Wilson and Kai Banda; special friend, Lillie Leopper.

The family will receive friends 6 – 8 pm Wednesday with the funeral service to follow at 8 pm in Lynnhurst-Greenwood Chapel with Rev. Mark McKeehan officiating.
