Laura Lee Sasser

Laura Sasser, born July 11, 1964 in Leeds, AL and went to be with the Lord on September 2, 2023. She was a woman who deeply loved her family and adored her grandkids. She is survived by her husband of 39 years Marc Sasser and her sons Richard Sasser (Danielle) and Jeremy Sasser (Taryn). She leaves behind her father Richard Patterson; brother, Keith Terrell; sister, Tracey Adkinson and Leah Veach. Her pride and joys were Emma and Brandon Sasser. She is preceded in death by her mother Jane Patterson and sister Lisa Patterson. She was a faithful member of Callahan Road Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching children's Sunday school. For all those who truly knew Laura, quilting was her passion. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude for all the love, care and concern shown for us during this time of need. God has truly been faithful and Marc and Laura's desire has always been for the Lord Jesus to be glorified. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 9, 2023 at Callahan Road Baptist Church from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm with Celebration of Life service to follow at 1:00 pm.
