Laura Michelle Bohanan

Laura Michelle (Godfrey) Bohanan, age 50, of South Knoxville, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018. She was of the Baptist faith. Laura was formerly employed by the Knoxville Police Department and the Knox County Attorney General's Office. Laura dearly loved her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth F. Godfrey. Laura is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 26 years, Steve "Bo" Bohanan; son Adam Bohanan; mother Oneida Godfrey; sister Mercedes Montgomery and husband David; brother Eric Godfrey and wife Jen; brother-in-law Jim Bohanan; nephews Evan, Noah, Caleb, Nathan, and Jacob; special friends Greg and Stephanie Leach and their daughter Mo, and Debbie Bailey. Family will receive friends Friday, January 19, 2018 in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with a celebration of Laura's life to follow at 7:00pm, Rev.
