Kimberly Sue McNeil, age 59, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. She enjoyed shopping and going to craft fairs with her sister Anita. Kim was an avid animal lover and wanted to rescue and save them all. She even "adopted" a groundhog that she named it, Punxsutawney. She loved her fur babies and treated them as her kids. Kim loved spending time watching her hummingbirds and thought everyone else should love and advocate for all animals like she did. She was one of a kind and not only Anita's sister but her best friend.
She is preceded in death by parents, Bobby and Christina Green; grandparents, Sam and Bernice Amburn and Roy and MaryLou McNeil; aunt, Barbara Amburn and uncle, Jimmy Amburn.
Kim is survived by her sister, Anita Gideon; nephews, Josh Helton, Nathaniel Helton and Keith McNeil; great nieces, Layla McNeil, Kendall McNeil; great-nephew, Jasper Helton; cousins, Bobby and Chris Amburn and other extended family members.
A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date. Online condolences and fond memories may be left for the McNeil family at www.mccartyevergreen.com
