CALDWELL, KENNETH WAYNE – age 76 of Knoxville passed away July 25, 2014 at Ft. Sanders Hospital. He was a graduate of Fulton High School and the University of Tennessee. Kenneth was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of the Kerbela Temple Shrine, the Eagles, Elk’s Lodge 160, Moose Lodge and the Tennessee State Jaycees. He served eleven years in the National Guard and worked 34 years as printing department manager of the Knoxville City Board of Education and Knox County Board of Education. Preceded in death by his parents, Leola Thompson Caldwell and Millard Caldwell. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kim and Mark Dougherty; granddaughters, Julie (Doug) Kalna, Lindsey Dougherty and husband Brent Fagg; grandsons, Joe Shubert, Max Shubert (Cori) and Brian Dougherty; great-grandchildren, Lowden and Elizabeth Kalna and Grayson Dougherty and a host of loving nieces and nephews. A heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ft. Sanders Hospital, in our time of need. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 2, 2014 from 4-6 pm in Weaver’s chapel with Masonic services conducted by the Burlington Masonic Lodge and a memorial service to follow. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately after service at the Dougherty residence.
