Judith "Judy" Gammon, age 86, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024. She was a lifetime member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Judy loved her family and was a faithful caregiver for her husband and parents. She was a devoted mother and "Mimi". Judy was an avid UT fan and enjoyed traveling to the Smoky Mountains, the beach and Disney World.
Judy was preceded in death by husband, Jim Gammon and parents, Vester and Jonnie Summitt. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Leigh Ann and Steve Summers; grandchildren; Kristi (Cody) Hawn and Kari (Andrew) Vogel; great granddaughter, Kayleigh Hawn.
The family would like to express thank you to the staff at Sacred Ground Hospice House for their loving care. Family will receive friends Tuesday, April 16th from 5-7pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 17th at Greenwood Cemetery, meeting at the cemetery at 10:45am for an 11am service with Rev. Mike Wilkinson officiating. Flowers are welcome as are donations to First Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Sacred Ground Hospice House.
