Johnny Kidd

Johnny Allan Kidd, Age 62, received his wings Wednesday, November 18, 2015. He was surrounded by his loving family. Johnny was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. He served as a Health Unit Coordinator at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital for 37 years and will be greatly missed by friends and co-workers. He is preceded in death by his wife; Debbie Kidd; father, Jack Kidd; mother, Sue Kidd; brother, Kenny Kidd. Johnny is survived by his devoted wife, Karen; loving daughter, Niki Osborne; son-in-law, Travis Osborne; loving step daughter; Kim Wilson; son-in-law, Nathan Wilson; loving step son; Josh Burchfield. Papaw Johnny loved all his grandchildren; Atkin, Cameron, Caislee, Cara Bell; and many special grandchildren; Evan, Little Travis, Victoria Nelson, Sierra, Makenna, and Tristen; sister, Donna Rochat; brother, Jimmy Kidd and his wife Tawny; step mother, Carolyn Kidd. He had many aunts, uncles, devoted cousins, nieces and nephews that also loved him. The family would like to say a very special thank you to the staff of 5 North at Fort Sanders Regional for all their care and support during the last several weeks. Karen would also like thank Sister Donna Rochat for all her love and support through this very difficult time. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 30, 2015 at Valley Grove Baptist Church. Receiving of friends will be held from 5-7 pm with a service following at 7:30 pm.
