Jenny was a 1997 graduate of South-Doyle High School and received her Bachelor's Degree from the University of Tennessee in Human Resources.
Following graduation from college, Jenny received her general contractors license as a custom home builder. She was the founder and owner of Luxe Homes and Design and Plantation Reclaimed Inc.
Jenny was a pioneer for women in the home building industry and was recognized with numerous awards by the building industry for excellence in design.
Jenny was a member of Stock Creek Baptist Church and was strong in her faith in Jesus. Her family is taking great comfort in knowing that she and her father, Buck, were together when they met their Lord and Savior.
Jenny was a private pilot with over 400 hundred hours flying time and was passionate about flying her Beechcraft Debonair. Jenny chronicled her aviation journeys on her YouTube and Instagram pages 865flygirl. She was working on obtaining her instrument certification. Her dad, Buck, was often beside her in the plane as her co-pilot and greatest encourager.
Jenny was known to be fierce and fun-loving, a real "Girl Boss." She pursued her passions as a home builder and pilot and lived life to its fullest.
Preceded in death by her father and best friend, James M. "Buck" Blalock; grandparents, James M. Blalock, Sr. and Helen Opal Greear Blalock.
Jenny is survived by her mother, Gloria K. Blalock; brother, Tim Blalock; sister, Kelly Blalock Norris and husband Brian Norris; niece, Ainsley Norris; aunt, Gail Clark; and several cousins and friends.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Sevier Heights Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Don Wilson and Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will meet at Stock Creek Cemetery 11 am, Friday, December 15, 2023 for graveside services.
