Jane Ellen (Gillenwater) McNeely

Jane Ellen Gillenwater McNeely, age 90, of Knoxville, Tennessee went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, May 7, 2023. Jane was a loving caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a longstanding member of Stock Creek Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of almost 50 years, George.

Jane is survived by sons: David and wife Judy, Don and wife Teresa, Bob and wife Debbie; daughters: Terry Williams, Glenda Crawford and husband Tommy, Anne Bartley and husband Randy, Patti Rouse and husband Kenny, Patti Haun and husband Roy, Cindy Dalton and husband Danny. Jane leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and was a priceless friend to many. The family would like to offer their special thanks for in home care by 6 daughters, granddaughter, Samantha Banker and son-in-law Tommy Crawford and lastly the continued love and support of the Gillenwater family.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 9, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM in the parlors of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. Family and friends will meet Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike for a 1:00 PM Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Gene Wood.
