James Brian Whaley, age 43, of Knoxville, Tennessee entered his heavenly home on Sunday, September 26, 2021. He was of the Baptist faith. It has been such a blessing to have him on this earth, as my beloved son. James was a loving father, brother and uncle.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, James and Carrie Whaley, James Morgan and Beulah Morgan; uncles, Buddy Whaley, David Whaley, Gene Whaley; aunts, Betty Whaley and Sandy Whaley.
James is survived by parents, John and Mary Morgan; son, James Taylor; daughter, Addison Whaley; brothers, Jeremy (Tracy) Morgan, Adam (Jamie) Large; sisters, Carrie (Jamarcus) Pelcher, Tiffany Bowling, Renee Large; grandmother, Linda Morgan; nieces, Maryah Large, Jasmine Large, Carlee Large, Kennedy Bowling; nephews, Jamarian Large, William Large, Gabriel Large; four great nieces and nephews; many cousins; loving aunts and uncles.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 1, 2021 between the hours of 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 pm with Rev. Alan Stalsworth officiating. Family and friends will meet Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Asbury Cemetery, 5100 Asbury Road, Knoxville for an 11:00 am Interment Service.
