Irene Felicia Barry peacefully entered Heaven’s gates on November 30, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born in Kingston, Pennsylvania on September 1, 1920, the daughter of the late William and Anna Lulewicz. Irene was a high energy person with a friendly smile and a deep love of God and Family. She loved to dance, play cards, laugh and was an excellent cook. Following graduation from Kingston High School in 1938, she worked for many years as a Payroll Clerk at Retreat State Hospital in Pennsylvania. Over the years she supported many charities and fund raising events. Irene retired to Port Orange, Florida prior to moving to Knoxville, Tennessee, where she resided with her son Thomas and his wife Karin. Irene was predeceased by her loving husband of 70 years, Gerald F. Barry. She is survived by her daughter Anne Juba and her husband Bruce; her son Thomas Barry and his wife Karin. She is also survived by her sister Dolores Damski and three grandchildren; Christopher Barry, Mackenzie Barry, and Marc Juba. Goodnight Irene, until we all meet again. A memorial mass service will be held at All Saints Catholic Church, 620 N. Cedar Bluff Rd., Knoxville, on Thursday, December 10th, at 10:30 AM.
