WEBB, HELEN JUNE MAXEY, 86, of Knoxville, went on to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2014. Helen was a member of New Prospect Presbyterian Church. She worked at Knox County Schools in the Superintendent's Office, loved to sing and write poetry, loved her family, was a 1945 Young High School graduate and was a band sponsor, attended U.T., and loved to travel with her husband and friends. Preceded in death by parents, John and Hazel Maxey; and sister, Margaret Latham. Survived by husband of 63 years, Charles Webb; sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Barbara Maxey Webb, and Randy Webb; granddaughter, Cheyenne Starr; great-grandchildren, Brittany Nichols and Bobby Sloan; brother, William Maxey; several nieces and nephews and numerous friends. Services will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Maxey Webb and Rev. Gerald Anders officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Friends will meet on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at New Prospect Presbyterian Church Cemetery for a graveside service.
