Hayden James Fugate

Hayden James Fugate, Age 12, transitioned this life Wednesday November 14, 2018 at 11:12PM, at his home, with his family present, after 7 long and painful years of battling brain and spine cancer. Hayden’s life was an inspiration to all who knew him. Through his pain he could always have his sweet and loving smile and kind words. He was loving son, grandson and great-grandson. Hayden was a 7th grade student (homebound) at Farragut Middle School. Hayden is survived by mother, Heather Blazer Kirby (Adam); father Paul Christian Fugate (Stephanie); brother, Sawyer Cade Fugate; stepsister, Kate Tull; grandparents, Rhonda Renee Leonard, Sandra and John Fugate; great grandmother, Margaret Blazer, uncle, Johnny (Judy) Fugate; aunt Rachel ( Eric) Mills; a multitude of cousins and other relatives; special friends Trey Ipsale, Noah Pratt, Sam Dalili, Niko Pantanizopoulos, Breck Knight and Deborah Bunner. Hayden’s family wishes to thank Dr. Spiller, Dr. Pearman and staff at U.T. Hospice who provided loving care as well as his loving grandmother Rhonda Renne Leonard who was constantly at his side 24/7 providing nursing care. A Celebration of Life will be observed November 25, 2018 at 2pm at Shoreline Church, Westland.
