Harvey Houston Spradlin

Harvey was born July 13th, 1932 in Woodland, AL to Robert and Gussie Spradlin. Harvey served over 20 years in the US Army. He served two tours in Korea and one in Vietnam. Harvey enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards, particularly Pinochle.

Harvey was Preceded in death by his Wife, Joyce Spradlin; Son, Barry Spradlin; Grandson, Joshua Spradlin; Sisters, Margie Spradlin Wilson, Betty Spradlin Mallette, Mildred Spradlin Kirk; Brothers, Robert Spradlin Jr., John Spradlin, Danny Spradlin and Mack Spradlin.

He is Survived by sons, Bob (Mary) of Port Angeles, WA, William (Sylvia) of Greer, SC, Brian (Lauren) of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Taylor Spradlin of Virginia Beach, VA, Madelyn (Blake) Rose and Cruz Spradlin all of Knoxville, TN an his Brothers, Ronnie, Doyce and Donnie Spradlin.

A Graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 6th at Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery, 5901 Lyon’s View Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919.
