Glynn E. Angel Sr.

Glynn E. Angel, Sr., age 89, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 24, 2016. Charter member of Cumberland Baptist Church. Veteran of U.S. Navy, having served in the Pacific theater during World War II. A man of great faith who loved to serve others and his church. He was a loving husband and father.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Virginia K. Angel; son, Glynn Angel, Jr.; all 4 siblings.Survived by his sons, Richard Angel, Dave Angel; daughter, Margaret (Roger) Davis; granddaughter, Sarah (Nigel) Bond; special sons, John Atkins, Joel Diamond; special friend, Mildred Knowles.
