Freida Faye "Mamaw" Williams

Freida Faye “Mamaw” Williams, age 71 of Knoxville, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family on Friday, December 1, 2023. Mamaw’s motto was “Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to Dance in the Rain”. She saw the good in everything. She was always dancing in the rain barefoot or had her toes in the sand.

Mamaw was greeted in Heaven by her loving husband, Sherman Williams; mothers, Dorothy and Rita Berrier; father, James “JB” Berrier; daughter Tammy Maples; grandson Jonathan Carlson aka BIG JON; brothers, Gary Berrier and Tommy Berrier

She is survived by her daughters, Teca Williams and Tonie Williams; grandchildren, Jordan Carlson (Alyssa), Isaac Williams (Ali), Anthony Franklin, Courtney Davison (Tyler), Deven Davison (Alley), Christopher Franklin (Kate), Shaun Franklin (Marliena), Sabrina Berrier (Ryan)and TJ Berrier (Nikki); great grandchildren, Jonathan Carlson, Jayden Carlson, Jett Carlson, Jax Carlson, Makayla Rutherford, Annabelle Rutherford, Wyatt Franklin, Liena Franklin and Aubrey Sealy; brother, Troy Berrier (Jo); son-in-laws; Andy Franklin and Steve Maples.
