Farice Padgett Troutman, age 91, of South Knoxville passed away December 13, 2024.Farice was a substitute teacher and a teacher’s aide for Knox County Schools. She was a fifty-year member of New Hopewell Baptist Church where she was active with the food pantry ministry. She enjoyed floral arranging, cooking and crafting and scrapbooking. Her greatest passion was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Farice and Bob enjoyed spending time at Douglas Lake with their close friends, Bob and Pat Whitfield.
Preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Bobby Joe Troutman; daughter, Teresa Troutman Pressly; parents, Murphy Daniel Padgett and Lola Alma Davis Padgett; son-in-law, Perry Anthony “Tony” Cope; sister, Lola Alma Padgett Hines.
Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, David and Cheryl Troutman and Gary and Tammy Troutman; daughter, Carolyn Troutman Cope; 8 grandchildren; Blake (Allison) Pressly, Brent (Stacy) Pressly, Matthew (Sara) Cope, Meredith Cope, Evan ( Ginny) Troutman, Lauren (Zak) Key, Erin (Mitchell) Miller, Daniel (Lareesa) Troutman; 11 great-grandchildren; George and Grant Pressly; Reece and Rory Miller; Perry, James and Hayes Cope; Brooklyn, Natalie and Rheagan Troutman; Blake Coker. several nieces and nephews.
