Edward D Potter, "Eddie," age 66 of Knoxville, Tennessee, went home to be with his savior on Monday, May 22, 2017. Eddie served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a member of Painters Local, Chapter 437. Eddie was an avid Civil War reenactor. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald Potter. Eddie is survived by his loving wife, Delaine "Nanu" Potter; mother, Lillian Potter; daughters, Tressa Potter and Laurie Potter Cates; grandchildren, Tyler Potter, Elijah Waldrop, Jaiden and Joshua Cates; brothers, Vaden Potter, Jerry (Sherry) Potter, Billy Potter, Jeff Potter; sister, Teresa (Tim) Julian.
