Doran M. White, age 94 of Knoxville, passed away April 30, 2024. She was a retired Anderson County school teacher and graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan College and the University of Tennessee. Doran was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband Ted; sisters, Polly M. Jones, Roberta Davis; brothers, Paul Meredith and Robert “Bob” Meredith. She is survived by several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday at Weaver Funeral Home from 12-1 pm with the service to follow at 1pm. Rev. Perry Duncan officiating.
