Donna Sue Walker

Lovingly called "Mumu" by her grandchildren, she had a feisty spirit and never met a stranger. She loved her family with her whole heart and treasured events celebrating life. Driving through the mountains, basking in the sun, and tending to flower and tomato gardens were some of her favorite things.

Donna is preceded in death by her father and mother, David J. Sr. and Dorothy E. Poston. She is survived by her daughters, Tisha (Doug) Lunsford and Angie (Tim) Doyle; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Walker, Madison Dunn, Rachael (Matt) Oakes, and Matthew Doyle; very special friends, Charlie Walker and Monique Hankins; brother, David J. (Ann) Poston Jr; sister, Diane Harvey; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn (Papermill) on January 20, 2022 from 6:30-8:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Knoxville Zoo at 3500 Knoxville Zoo Drive 37914. Donna always enjoyed visiting the animals and especially loved the gorillas.
