David Ray York

David Ray York, age 64, of South Knoxville, passed away at home on Monday, September 12, 2016. He attended Sevier Heights Baptist Church and was employed by South Knoxville Home Depot. David will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Edna York. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Martha; twin sister, Deanna Burnett; sisters-in-law, Sue (Nathan) Ballard, Rose Marie (Johnny) Arnwine, Fay (Chris) Christie; aunts, Faye Richards, Dot Richards; nephews, Josh Burnett, Joey (Wendy) West, Bobby Burns; niece, Stephanie (Michael) Ramsay; great nieces, Ava Ramsay, Kyndra West; great nephew, Chase West; many other relatives and friends, and a special thank you to South Knoxville Home Depot for their love and support. The family will receive friends 5:00pm until 7:00pm on Thursday, September 15, 2016 in Berry Funeral Home Chapel, 3704 Chapman Highway. Funeral service will follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Charlie McNutt and Josh Burnett officiating. Family and friends will meet at Woodlawn Cemetery, 11:00am, Friday, September 16, 2016 for a graveside service.
