David Wayne Houser

HOUSER, David Wayne, age 53, of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 8, 2021. He was a member of Forest Grove Freewill Baptist Church. David was a Christmas baby, born December 25. He was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He never met a stranger and loved helping others. He will be forever missed.

David graduated from Doyle High School in 1986, and worked for William S. Trimble in Commercial Sales for over 27 years. He loved being outdoors, hunting, gardening, and cooking.

Preceded in death by his father, Ronald “Ronnie” H. Houser; grandparents, Odie Mae Wolfe Houser, Delmas Houser, and step-grandmother, Ruth Rose Houser; grandparents, David and Classie Keck; cousin, Rusty Houser; and uncle, John H. Tillie, Sr.

David is survived by his children, son, David Grant (Brittany) Houser; daughter, Rachel Anne Houser; mother, Pauline Houser; brother, Johnny H. (Brenda) Houser; nephew, Wesley (Brittany) Houser; niece, Kendal (Reese) Brewer; nephews, David, Jason, and Mathew Shannon; great nephew, Beckett Houser; great niece, Hayeslei Houser; special uncle, Ken Houser; special aunt, Mattie Tillie, special cousins, Chucky Houser and John Tillie; and many friends.

Pallbearers: Wesley Houser, David Shannon, Jason Shannon, Brandon Houser, John Tillie, Jr., and Todd Monday.

The family will receive friends from 1pm-3pm at Berry Highland South on Sunday, September 12, 2021, 9010 W. Simpson Rd., Knoxville, TN 37920, with a Graveside Service to follow, officiated by Rev. Earl Dunn Jr.
