Born in Memphis, TN, on August 21, 1984, to Philip and Judi Coyle, he grew up on the campus of New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary and later moved with his family to Lacombe, Louisiana, where he completed Fountainbleau High School. He attended University of Tennessee/Chattanooga and Carson Newman College. Christopher was an important part of his parents' service in Christian higher education through their various roles as family therapists, professor, dean, director of university counseling center, and provost. Christopher lived in Longview, TX, with his parents before moving back to Tennessee to care for his grandfather, Dr. Bruce Coyle. He worked for the family car dealership (Rusty Wallace Cadillac/Kia) in Morristown, TN, and later worked alongside his father as partner in Coyle Properties in Chattanooga for the past 5 years where he engaged in neighborhood and home restoration in Highland Park, Orchard Knob, Glenwood and downtown neighborhoods. He was known to many as funny, quirky, strong, unpretentious, loving and compassionate, always seeing the best in people. He was a gentle giant. During his time at Coyle Properties he assisted many individuals and families in the inner city with a variety of needs and always did so with an abundance of tenderness. He quietly touched many lives and left us with wisdom for living. He had close friends all over the world and to many he was known as "Stig". He was a devoted son, brother and grandson and loved his family. Despite his struggle with health issues, he was always attentive to the needs of others. He modeled for us all the love of Christ.
