Charles H. Russell, age 76 of Knoxville, TN passed away December 30, 2020. He loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing. He was a lifelong resident of Knoxville, Tennessee and a member and deacon of Walnut Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Grace Gibbson and brother-in-law, Harley Thomas.
Charles is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Marilyn Russell; loving sister, Barbara Turner; brother-in-law, Leroy Turner; step-daughters, Linda Sherrod and Mary Cotton; son-in-law, Larry Cotton; grandchildren, Samantha and Nathan Sherrod, Marissa Vess, Sara Cotton, and a host of family and friends.
Family and friends will meet Wednesday, January 6, 2020 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville for a 2:00pm graveside service officiated by Rev. Eddie Smartt. The family invites friends to share fond memories and sign the online guestbook at www.berryfuneralhome.com.
