Charles Ray Pierce Jr., age 67, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Chic was 1974 graduate of Bearden High School where he played baseball. Chic was the best coach on the planet, from coaching his kids to coaching all of his softball buddies. He was loved by so many and had a larger than life personality. His biggest loves were Tennessee everything but mostly football and he was the biggest Cubs fan you could ever meet!
Chic was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Bud" and Mable "Flossy" Pierce. He is survived by his children, Christy and Cody Pierce; sister, Cis McMahan (Chuck); nieces, Kendahl McMahan, Kerstin Anderson (Steven) and Kalie McMahan; great niece, Keaton McMahan.
A celebration of life will be held for Chic on Saturday, August 5, 2023 from 12-3pm at the Bearden Beer Market to share memories and stories.
