Carl Snyder went home to heaven February 6, 2022 at the age of 86. Predeceased by the love of his life, his wife of 65 years, Mary Jane Snyder. The oldest of six children of J.M. and Johnnie Snyder.
Survived by his daughter: Katherine Bigger, son: Allen Snyder (Vicky); grandchildren: Carly Watson, Andie Bigger (Mark Dills), Justin Snyder, and Joey Snyder. Great grandchildren: Seth and Dillon Reep, and Cooper Dills.
Carl retired from the South Knoxville Post Office, then became owner of Snyder Construction, where he built custom homes in Knoxville and Seymour. He was also a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and volunteer driver for children to Shriner's Hospitals.
Family and friends will meet on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy.
