Bobby Joe Norris

Bobby Gene Norris, age 81, of Knoxville, Tennessee departed this life to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, November 23, 2024. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Bobby was preceded in death by the love of his life, Betty.

He loved his family fiercely and was always there for them. He enjoyed his job as a marble and granite mason working on federal buildings across the United States.

Bobby cherished the memories his wife, Betty made traveling together across the country. He was a deacon and member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Betty; parents, William (Dad) and Maude (Granny) Norris; brothers: Adrian, Roy (RL), Frank (Ted), Lloyd; sisters: Juanita, Louise and Ruth.

He leaves behind his daughters: Donna Brown (Mike), Teresa Neff (Jerry), Lisa Hill (Dave), Debbie Branam; several grandchildren; great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; several nieces; nephews; church family; best friend, Steve Loposser and his best "Good Boy", Bemo. Bobby's daughter, Lisa and granddaughter, Amanda have been a special blessing and a wonderful caretakers.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 29, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920

with a service to follow at 6:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jerry Crye. Family and friends will meet Saturday, November 30, 2024 at Mt. Olive Cemetery, 2400 Berry Road, Knoxville, TN for a 12:00 PM Interment officiated by JR McMahan.
