Billy P. Noah

Billly P. Noah (Bill) age 92 of Knoxville passed away Tuesday January 3. 2023 at Fort Sanders Hospital. He was born May 22, 1930, to Letis Lexie Brewer Noah and William (Bill) Noah in Friendsville, Tn.

Bill is preceded in death by his brother, James Alvin Noah and nephew Chase Noah. He was a loving husband to his wife of 67 years, December 30, 1955, Alma Ruth Moore Noah (Ruthie) and daughter, Karen Noah Hudson (Bill). Also survived by, Sister-in-law, Betty Noah, nephews Curtis Noah and Scott Noah. Sister-in-law Mary Moore of Great Falls MT and many other nieces and nephews. Also friend Houston Stallings who was closer than a brother to him.

He proudly served in the Air Force for 20 Years and served during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He had tours in Vietnam, Thailand, Alaska, England and state side. After retiring from the military, he worked at Lakeshore Mental Health Hospital 20 years before retiring. Bill had a kind and giving heart and was never too busy to lend a hand to anyone in need. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Shannondale for their care and to Hospice at Fort Sanders.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Berry Highland Memorial. Family and friends will reconvene in the cemetery on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at 11:00 AM for a graveside service with military honors. Services will be officiated by Dr. Phil Young.
