Betty Jean Bowling

Betty Jean Moses Bowling, age 84, of Knoxville, passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. She was a member of Inskip Baptist Church. Retired from Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center. Preceded in death by husband, James “Carl” Bowling; parents, Paris and Myrtle Moses; brother, George Moses. Survived by daughters Lynda Thomas and husband Ben, Debbie Ellis and husband Dan, Christa Bowling; son, Fred Bowling and wife Julie; grandchildren, Darren and Lee Ellis, Seth Bowling and fiancée Kayla Amacher, Jennie Bowling Rhodes and husband Justin; special friend, Janice Davis; special sisters-in-law, Helen Beams and Jessie Lee Delk; numerous nieces and nephews; special grand dog, Chloe. She loved the Lord, her children and grandchildren beyond measure and they loved her. She leaves sweet memories with all who knew her. The family will receive friends from 1 – 3 pm Friday with the graveside service at 3 pm at Lynnhurst Cemetery with Rev. Glen Metts officiating.
