Betty Sue Bailey

Betty Sue Bailey, age 79 of Knoxville, received her miracle and went to be with Jesus, Tuesday, March 7, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Ramsey Church of God, loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Betty was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Pearlie Stout; husband, James Bailey; sister, Ernestine Cagle; brother, Robert Stout; nieces, Pearlie Byrd and Anna Cagle and nephew, Sam Oglesby.

Betty is survived by son, Andrew Bailey; daughter, Mary Ivey; grandchildren, Lacey Bailey, Hannah and Evan Cross, Lucas Ivey and Rachel Ivey; sisters, Kathleen Stout and Allie (Junior) Mount; brothers, Andy (Alice) Stout and Danny (Tina) Stout; special niece, Beth Mills and several nieces and nephews and family members; fur babies, Tiny, Brownie and Sassy.

The family will receive friends Saturday, March 11, 2023 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at Ramsey Church of God. Funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Joe Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Beech Springs Cemetery at 3:00 p.m.
