Barbara Janette Arwood Moore, age 75, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, May 21, 2023. She was a retiree of the University of Tennessee campus. Barbara loved her family deeply. She was an avid UT Vols fan and loved family vacations to the beach. She took great pride in being Granny to everyone.
She was preceded in death by son, William "Billy" Henry Jr.; parents, Andrew Tilmon Lee and Anna Kate Arwood and 7 brothers and sisters.
Barbara is survived by sister, Judy Miller; daughter, Melissa Thomas; son, J.R. and wife Kristine Moore; grandchildren: Eric, Taylor, Jacob, Madison, Maddie, Ciera, Jaylee, Jared, Ryan, Hayden, Bentley and 6 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 24, 2023 between the hours of 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, May 25, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Berry Funeral Home and follow with a procession to Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville for an Interment Service officiated by Rev. Rocky Glenn.
