Barbara attended Graystone Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed spending time at Douglas Lake, Daytona Beach and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by parents, William C. Trotter and Ella Williams Trotter; sister, Margaret Trotter Crisp; brothers, W.C. Jr., John and James Trotter.
Barbara is survived by daughter, Karen Hawkins; son, Larry Hawkins; previous husband, William L. Hawkins; sister-in-law, Agnes Trotter; several nieces; nephews; grand-nieces and grand nephews.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Caris Healthcare and NHC Farragut for their wonderful care.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 9, 2022 between the hours of 5:00PM until 7:00PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville with a service to follow at 7:00PM officiated by Rev. Les Rust. Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South Cemetery 9010 Simpson Road for an 11:00AM Interment Service. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Graystone Presbyterian Church, 139 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920.
