Barbara J. Brewer

Barbara Judy Brewer, 89 years old, went to be with the Lord on September 11, 2023 after an extended illness. Born on May 8, 1934, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Barbara was a member of Beaver Dam Baptist Church and a former longtime member of West Lonsdale Baptist Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She loved cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by parents, Thelma Spencer and Joseph Judy; sisters, Patricia Judy and Dawn Miller. She leaves to mourn her passing; husband of 73 years, Donald Brewer; brother, David (Amy) Judy; daughters, Donna Brewer, who cared for her mother for the past several years, Deanna Smith, both of Knoxville and Darla Tauscher (Karl), of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren, Joshua (Heather) Tauscher, Michael (Denise) Smith, Mitchell Smith, Matthew (Jennifer) Smith, all of Knoxville, Clayton Tauscher, of Virginia Beach, VA and Laura Tauscher, of Nashville, TN; 7 great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 11am-12pm at Berry Lynnhurst Funeral Home on Friday, September 15th with funeral service at noon and burial to follow immediately at Lynnhurst Cemetery. Rev. Steve Brewer officiating.
