Alexander DeLoach “Sandy” Goodwin, Jr. age 72 of Knoxville, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021. He was born in Spartanberg, SC . Sandy graduated from Florida State in the 70’s and retired from Otis Pest Control. Survived by wife of 31 years, Debbie Goodwin (Womac), Powell, TN; daughter, Amanda Bailey (Jason), Jacksonville, FL; stepdaughters, Melanie Peckham (Doug), Harriman, TN and Michelle Butler (Charles), from Murfreesboro, TN; nephew, Randy Womac (Lisa) from Maryville, TN. Sandy was “Papaw” to 6 grandchildren: Josh Reynolds, Tyler Western, Jordan and Justice Butler, Jacob and Elliott Bailey, and 2 great-grandchildren: Riley and Liam. Sandy was a musician at heart. He loved his family, Pink Floyd, Nascar and camping with Debbie at his favorite spot on Douglas Lake. A Celebration of Life will be held at Weaver’s Chapel at 2:00 pm.
