Beloved husband of Diane Morgan-Brown. Predeceased by Shirley (Wife of 44 years) Dear father of Dianne (Whitby), David (Toronto) and Glenn (London). Dear Grandpa of Jennifer & her husband Chris, Sherri-Lynn, Robert and Holly. Great-Grandpa to Eve and Alexander. Dear Step dad of Ron Currie & his wife Laura and deeply loved Opa to Lawson & Taylor of Oakville. Predeceased by his parents David & Eliza, his dear brother David (killed in action in WW II) and his sisters Doris and Iris. Syd dedicated his life to civil service and he was deeply committed to protecting the rights of others. Syd has worked relentlessly over the past couple of years writing his biography, which he completed and is ready for publication.
Visitation will be held at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St., Kitchener on Friday 4, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 1:00 p.m with Pastor Rob Heintz officiating. Cremation will follow.
Memorial donations to the Children’s Safety Village would be appreciated by the family.
