Passed away at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie, on Sunday, February 1, 2015, at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late George Maynard. Left to grieve are her “heart” family: Leola, Roger, Phillip, and Allison Chiasson. Also remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Helen will be remembered for her contributions over the years to the Salvation Army, and for volunteering her time and talents for the Women’s Institute and many other local charities and organizations. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, 1001 Ottawa St. S., Kitchener, (519-743-8900), on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 10:00 – 10:45 am, where the memorial service will be held in the chapel at 11:00 am.
