It saddens us to have to say goodbye to our Mother, Sister, Grandmother and friend, Deborah Kobak, age 63. On February 15, Deborah passed peacefully in her sleep after fighting the after effects of a brain tumour for over twenty years. She was a courageous, strong minded, warm and caring lady, who valued education, enjoyed her gardens and loved her crafts, especially sewing.
Predeceased by her adoring husband Theodore Kobak, her parents Aileen (Himes) and Robert Howey, and her sister Veronica Howey. She is survived and greatly missed by her children; Tanya Davidson, Todd(Teresa) Davidson, David Kobak, Tara(Alan) Paton and Kirsty-Lea Ramchuk. Dearly missed by her grandchildren; Celina, Liam, Aneliese, Faith, Hope, Emrie, Harrison, Benjamin, and Landon. Dearly missed by her sister, Nancy Werbicki and brother, Robert Howey Jr.
Friends and family are invited to share their memories of Deb at Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre at 1001 Ottawa St. S. Kitchener on Friday, February 22. Visitation will be 11-1pm and a service will begin at 1pm with reception to follow.
