Maria Antonieta Wong Treviño de Salazar, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, was welcomed into God's loving embrace on July 26, 2010 in Kingwood, Texas. Born December 1st, 1941 in Palau, Coahuila, Mexico and raised in Monterrey, N.L., Mexico. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mario G. Salazar, and daughters, Toni Salazar Loftin, Maritza Salazar-Abshire, Cynthia Salazar Flynn and Marisol Salazar Hall, their husbands, and her six grandchildren. Her greatest accomplishment and pride was raising and educating her daughters, all of whom hold advanced degrees. The family wishes to thank Dr. Michael Keating, Alice Lynn, FNP, and the nursing staff at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center for their expert care. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on July 31st at 10 a.m. at St. Martha Catholic Church in Kingwood.
