Julie Janik Martin, born on May 27, 1962 in Texas City, Texas, she grew up and went to school in Santa Fe, Texas passed away on April 16, 2019 in Kingwood Texas at the age of 56, after a courageous five year battle with brain cancer.
She was a graduate of Texas A&M University - and she loved her Aggies. The most important thing in Julie's life - was her family. Known for her strong personality and zest for life, her music, photography, nature, and travel were also important passions. She loved to volunteer, especially at her church and her sons' schools. Always looking to embrace what the world had to offer, she enjoyed going to museums and the theatre. Julie was a great mom, a wonderful wife, dedicated daughter, and a fabulous sister.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jonathan Martin; sons, Alec Martin, and Nicholas Martin; father, Bob Janik; mother, Beverly Taylor and husband, Tom; brother, Bobby Janik; sister, Darlene Janik Faires; sister, Barbara Janik and her partner, Lydia Bierer; brother, Roger Janik & wife, Susie; brother, Roy Janik & wife, Kaci Beeler; cousin, Jerry Baldwin & wife, Theresa; father and mother-in-law, Tom & Betty Martin; brother-in-law, Tommy & wife, Lisa; sister-in-law, Tina Finch & husband Perry; nieces and nephews, Ryan and Tyler Janik, Paul and Crystal Henderson, Mikayla Faires, Penny and Evie Janik, Louisa and Annabel Finch. A host of friends also survive.
