Jerry Lee Baker Kane (“Nana”), 81, passed away on July 22, 2010 in Kingwood, TX. Jerry was born on June 12, 1929 to Hugh and Irma Baker in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Byron Lyle Kane. Jerry had many hobbies to keep her busy like cooking and collecting. She liked to collect antique blue glass, but what she loved the most was spending time with her three grandsons that she adored.
Jerry is survived by her daughter, Pam Kane, her son, Tim Kane and wife Rita, her three precious grandsons, Jason, Stephen, and Alan Kane and her brother, Jay Baker and his wife Kitty, along with her in-laws, Nyleen and Helmer Pederson and many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2010 at 2:00 PM at St. Martha’s Catholic Church with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Association or American Heart Association.
