David Paramo passed away peacefully at home on June 10, 2024 with his devoted wife and daughter by his side. He was born on March 9, 1948 in Houston to parents Manuel and Amelia Paramo. He graduated from San Jacinto High School where he excelled in machine shop. After high school, he went on to find his career path and worked for Halliburton for 43 years as a Class A machinist with many accolades along the way. After high school he also met the love of his life, Josie, once they married they never left one another’s side. They had two children, Debbie and David, who they were completely dedicated to. David was a gentle, loving husband, son, father, and grandfather and created a beautiful life for his family.
David is survived by the love of his life, his wife Josie; his children, daughter Debbie Papania and her husband Ray Papania, son David Paramo and his wife Linda Paramo; grandchildren, Anthony Paramo, Alyssa Paramo, Brandon Flores, Alyssa Flores, and Ava Papania. Sisters; Beatrice Alvarez and Lydia Holgin; and beloved aunt, Lola Tijerina.
David was raised by a single mother in Houston, TX. He continued her legacy and always put the needs of his family first. He was her pride and joy. Before his passing, he told his wife, children, and grandchildren “It’s been a beautiful life”. David was the measure of a man who never let his family down. He knew what was important in life and lived his life for his family. He was always supportive, comforting, a pillar of strength and above all loving. His favorite past times were hanging out with his family, fishing, watching sports, and listening to his favorite music. Anyone who knew David, knew he loved to whistle and always had music playing.
David’s celebration of life will be held at Kingwood Funeral Home on June 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
