With solemn and grateful hearts, we announce the passing of Cynthia Marie Aleman in Kingwood, Texas, on December 6, 2024. Cindi was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to Myrl Stevens Stutson and Charles M. Aleman, Jr. She is the beloved step-daughter of Harold J. Stutson and Ann M. Aleman, dear sister to Sharron (Paul) May, the late Steven D. Aleman, Tara Aleman, Chad (Jennifer) Aleman and Troy Aleman, granddaughter of the late Theodore "Tats" and Vivian Stevens and the late Charles and Juliette Aleman. She was the beloved niece of the late June Brown, Randall and the late Carol Aleman and Christy and the late Sam Abernathy.
Cindi also leaves behind a nephew (Avery May) four nieces (Alexandria (Nick) Myers, Jessilee Myers, Kate and Kinley Aleman), numerous cousins and dear friends.
Cindi recently retired as the Manager of Exports at Atlas Heavy Projects, LLC in Houston, Tx. She held similar management roles at Alliance International Forwarders in Houston and D.F. Young in New Orleans until she was transferred to their Houston office during Hurricane Katrina. She attended John F. Kennedy and Riverdale High School in New Orleans.
As we bid Cindi farewell, we cherish the essence of her kind and generous spirit. We celebrate her reunion with dearly departed family members and return to the arms of the Almighty. Family and friends are welcome to leave condolences, memories and photos. Cindi will be interred at Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana at a date to be announced in the future.
