Charles M King III

Charles/Chuck was born July 9, 1934 in Dallas, Texas to Charles and Cora King. He was reared in Oak Cliff, Dallas and graduated from Adamson High School. After graduating from Southern Methodist University in 1957, he entered the U. S. Navy. He proudly served in the Navy for 6 years as a commissioned officer.

Following active duty in the Navy, he moved to Houston, Texas and became the proud father of Caryn Mary King and Judith Marie King. Most of his career was spent as a computer programmer and software developer retiring in 2001.

In 1977, he met and married Judith Ann and the following year moved to Jersey Village, Texas. He, along with his wife, Judith, became a charter member of Foundry United Methodist Church.

Chuck was athletic and enjoyed all sports, but his passion was baseball. He was an avid Houston Astros fan and Dallas Cowboys fan.

Charles King is survived by his wife of 43 years, Judith King; his daughters, Caryn King of Georgetown, Texas and Judith King of Bartlett, Texas; his brother and sister-in-law Jack and Joanne King of Dallas, Texas; his granddaughter, Jennifer; grandson, Elijah McKee of Kingwood; and numerous nieces and nephews.
