Thomas Norman Gaither

Thomas N. Gaither, a long time resident of Kingsville, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 16, 2010. He was 71. He was born on June 23, 1939 to Richard Lee and Ora Mae Gaither in Corpus Christi, Texas. He was the owner and operator of Gaither Air-N-Ice for 37 years. Thomas was an active member of the Elk’s Lodge for many years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents. Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Jean Gaither; his three sons, Mike Dwayne Gaither, Thomas Scott Gaither and Michael Damon Gaither; four daughters, Patsy Gail Schreiner, Denise Carmody, Kathy Webb and Carlye Pazlas; sister, Ava (Jack) Sloan and brother, Rick (Cleo) Gaither. Also left to cherish his memory, are his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the many more to come. Thomas always had a smile on his face for everyone, including his many extended family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at Turcotte-Piper Mortuary on Friday, October 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
